The events community sets the tone for innovation when it comes to captivating audiences. With the rise of enhanced virtual and hybrid events, attendees can take part in new shared experiences and engage with others in more ways than ever.

With the Hopin App Store, you can now:

  • Discover and install applications: Intuitive Hopin App Store navigation makes it easy to find apps based on the experience you’re building and install them for use in your next event. 
  • Keep track of installed applications in one place: Manage all your applications in the Organizer Dashboard. Quickly access support documentation, make changes to your app configuration, and more.

Unlocking post-event value

“Will we get a recording of this?” Anyone fielded this question during an event? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️🙋

Even though your event has ended, that doesn’t mean the value of your content can’t live on. With this new update, make event recordings accessible for people who may have missed the live session or who just want to relive the magic.


You can now:

  • Extend the life cycle of an event: Post-Event Replay will now give organizers the opportunity to extend a live event by offering on-demand recordings to event registrants for up to a year. Organizers will also be able to view and download analytics reports to understand which pieces of content are resonating with registrants. Learn more here.

We’ve also made some updates to our event content recording workflow to make it easier than ever to edit event footage and publish it to Hopin Replay.

You can now:

  • More easily find recordings: Enjoy a simplified recording library experience where only Primary recordings are visible at first. Backup and Rehearsal recordings will continue to be accessible but via a separate interface. Read more about recordings here.
  • Quickly trim recordings: Trim the start and end of your recordings directly within Hopin for a more polished, professional feel.

Offering more opportunities for audience engagement

Seeing fully engaged attendees is something special for event professionals. An engaged audience is also often a key indicator of a successful event.

Hopin’s Breakout Rooms give organizers a new way to turn intimate conversations into high-quality event programming.


You can now:

  • Drive more attendee participation, engagement, and interactivity: Within the Sessions event area, Breakout Rooms will allow organizers (or moderators) to randomly split attendees into smaller virtual rooms. When the rooms are created, organizers can set a time limit, message all breakout rooms, and bring everyone back to the main session at any time. Learn more about Breakout Rooms here.

Improving audience acquisition

When it’s time for people to register for your event, the registration experience should be easy. After all, you’ve already done the heavy lifting of building an event marketing strategy and promoting your event.

With our latest update to the registration workflow, interested invitees can register faster than ever.

You can now:

  • Increase the rate of registrants who show up to your events by up to 50%: Quick Registration is the new and simpler way to register for Hopin events. Attendees can register in less than a minute and no longer have to verify their email to receive their invite link. On the day of your event, it's easier than ever for attendees to join. We've already seen organizers experience up to a 50% increase in attendance rate for their events due to this streamlined experience.

Extending event accessibility

Events are a global business so we’re hard at work making events on Hopin more accessible to organizers and attendees alike.

You can now:

  • Create and manage events in German and Japanese: Event organizers can now tackle everything from event creation to event management on Hopin in German and Japanese.

Attendees can now:

  • Have more control over captions: Attendees will be able to turn on closed captions in the Expo and Networking event areas. Learn more about closed captions here.
